The Israeli Army destroyed a new tunnel in the Gaza Strip (video).


The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that they destroyed a tunnel of the Palestinian movement Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip. The tunnel was 1.2 km long and about 20 m deep. With the help of a drone, the soldiers detected several terrorists setting up an explosive device near the troops and eliminated them. Also, near the tunnel, a weapons cache was found containing explosive devices and anti-tank missiles.

On Saturday, the Israeli military completed the encirclement of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. This was part of a plan to capture additional areas of the enclave. Since March 18, the military has demanded that Palestinians leave the city, forcing them to leave the limited space by the sea.
On the evening of April 6, Hamas militants shelled Israel with rockets, and in response, the IDF will expand the offensive in the Gaza Strip.
