Germany will increase military aid to Ukraine by 400 million euros, according to the official website of the German government.
The Bundestag agreed to allocate additional funds for military support to Ukraine. These funds will be used to purchase armored vehicles, air defense systems, drones, ammunition, and spare parts.
In addition, the German government plans to allocate another 170 million euros for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The German government confirmed its commitment to providing an additional 50 billion dollars by the end of the year from frozen Russian assets agreed upon at the G7 summit.
Earlier, on June 13, the leaders of the "Big Seven" agreed to provide Ukraine with a 50 billion dollar loan. The collateral will be the use of profit from the interest of frozen assets of the Russian central bank. The financing of this loan will be carried out not by EU countries, but by the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and probably Japan.
We remind you, the USA will transfer JSOW missiles to Ukraine: Zelensky thanked for the new military aid worth 7.9 billion dollars.
