Some pensioners will be left without benefits: the main reason named by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

The Pension Fund in the Volyn region is increasing pensions
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has decided to raise pensions for citizens in the Volyn region. According to Lesya Neklesa, in July of this year, over 1500 pensioners in the region who have reached the ages of 65, 70, 75, and 80 received a recalculation of their pensions. Additionally, some categories of pensioners who turned 70, 75, and 80 years old receive a compensation payment on a monthly basis.
It has been noted that only those pensioners who have completed their labor or entrepreneurial activities receive the compensation payment. The recalculation of pensions for individuals who have reached the respective age thresholds occurs automatically, without the need for personal appeals to the relevant authorities. It is noted that for pensioners with high pensions, the compensation payment is not provided.
The compensation payment upon reaching the ages of 70, 75, and 80 is established from the date of reaching the respective age, however, for individuals whose pension exceeds 10,340.35 hryvnias, this payment is not established.
Currently, there are over 41,000 pensioners registered who receive a minimum pension by age. The government continues to improve the system of social protection for citizens, particularly with measures to increase the level of pensions for Ukrainians living in the Volyn region.
