The Czech government has accused China of cyber attacks on the network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to Reuters, Czech officials believe that a group APT31, linked to the Chinese Ministry of State Security, is behind the attacks.
The Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský summoned the Chinese ambassador to condemn the attack: 'Such hostile actions will have serious consequences for our relations'
After the discovery of the attack, the Czech Republic established a new communication system with enhanced security. The government openly condemned this cyber campaign against critical infrastructure.
NATO and the European Union supported the Czech Republic. Kaja Kallas urged all countries, including China, to refrain from such behavior and cyber activities at the international level.
