Will there be power outages on Independence Day: forecast from 'Ukrenergo'.

Tomorrow, August 24, there will be no power outages, reports the press service of 'Ukrenergo'.
If the situation changes, restriction measures will be additionally reported.
Today, August 23, power outages are also not expected.
Since August 19, due to the heat, power outage schedules have been reapplied in Ukraine.
DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of the lost generation by October, which was the result of Russian shelling in the spring of this year.
Additionally, after repair and reloading of nuclear fuel, another nuclear block has been connected to the power system.
The head of 'Ukrenergo' Volodymyr Kudrytskyi stated that the power shortage in the country will decrease throughout August, September, and October, provided there are no new major shellings.
From August 25, Ukraine plans to resume electricity exports to neighboring countries to prevent accidents in the power system.
The level of electricity consumption in the country on Friday, August 23, significantly decreased due to the cooling of the weather. Moreover, one of the nuclear power plant units was scheduled to be turned off. This led to an excess of electricity in the Ukrainian power system, especially during the daytime operation of solar power stations.
'Ukrenergo' states that electricity production should match consumption. To prevent accidents due to excess, it was decided to resume electricity exports to neighboring countries.
