Deputy Shevchenko received a notice of suspicion of treason: befriended Lukashenko and Shariy, presented himself as a GUR agent.

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies announced a suspicion against People's Deputy Yevhen Shevchenko in the case of state treason.
According to the investigation, Shevchenko actively disseminated Russian propaganda and influenced the internal situation in Ukraine through social media, appearances in the media, and his own channels on YouTube and Telegram.
The investigation particularly focused on his activities in October-November 2024, when he spread false information about the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and generally created a threat to Ukraine's defense capability.
It was also revealed that Shevchenko was engaged in business in Belarus, meeting with Alexander Lukashenko and using his influence to organize a scheme for purchasing energy and fertilizers for further resale at inflated prices.
The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. At the moment, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
It should be noted that Shevchenko previously supported the well-known political figure Anatoly Shariy and held negotiations with Alexander Lukashenko, but officially he is not an employee of the intelligence department of Ukraine.
