The Armed Forces of Ukraine have included a new FPV drone named 'Rarog-10' for strike and reconnaissance missions. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense.
This unmanned aerial vehicle meets all standards and can now be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was developed in Ukraine.
Key characteristics of 'Rarog-10':
- Maximum speed: up to 140 km/h;
- Flight Time: from 10 to 13 minutes (depending on the load);
- Payload capacity: up to 4.5 kg;
- Flight range with a 2 kg load: about 13 km;
- Maximum flight altitude: up to 3000 m;
- Control system: ERLS 915 MHz;
- Video transmission: analog, 1.2 GHz;
- Camera: Flywoo Micro Cam V2 1500TVL;
- Protection: complete isolation from water and dust.
'Rarog-10' is equipped with a carbon frame and powerful engines, which provide it with maneuverability and reliability in combat conditions. This drone can perform the functions of a strike means, reconnaissance, or signal relay.
These unmanned aerial vehicles can carry explosive charges capable of destroying field fortifications, cover, enemy equipment, and weapons, including armored objects.
'Rarog-10' is the result of Ukrainian developments and is already successfully used at the front. This drone demonstrates its effectiveness in real combat conditions.
Previously, the Ukrainian defense technology cluster Brave1 conducted large-scale tests of fiber-optic FPV drones that can fly over distances of more than 20 kilometers.
The tests involved more than 15 manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles capable of navigating obstacles and performing tasks in various conditions. Seven manufacturers of ground robotic complexes on fiber optics were also tested.
The Ukrainian army continues to strengthen its defense capabilities through modern technologies and developments, which is an important stage in the development of the domestic armed force.
