Galushchenko responded whether Ukraine can launch everything from 'Zelenskyy's Gigawatt' by the end of the year.

Ukraine's Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko reported that by the end of 2024, Ukraine will receive the necessary equipment for 1 GW of distributed generation, but its full launch will be possible only from the beginning of 2025.
He stated this in an interview with Forbes. According to the minister, in some cities, generation installations are already installed, but their connection to the grid will be possible only from the beginning of January 2025. Galushchenko also noted that some private companies are already generating electricity not only for their own needs but also supplying it to the national grid.
The minister expressed confidence that distributed generation would be able to provide electricity to critical infrastructure in the event of a blackout. He also stated that Ukraine would be able to get through the winter of 2024-2025 without power outages.
