Are blackout schedules returning? 'Centrenergo' made a statement.

The information that blackout schedules may return to Ukraine as early as next week is not true. This was reported by "Centrenergo".
Earlier, a member of the supervisory board of "Centrenergo" Vladimir Velichko stated that blackouts would return to Ukraine next week. According to him, the temperature drop, predicted by meteorologists from November 4, requires additional measures for balancing the power system.
However, the chairman of the company's supervisory board, Andriy Hota, and CEO Yevgeny Garkavyi emphasize that the determination of emergency shutdown schedules is the exclusive competence of NEC "Ukrenergo".
According to the statement by "Centrenergo", the situation in the power system is stable, and the energy workers have done everything possible to ensure the operation of the equipment in the autumn-winter period.
The government and other responsible institutions are working on preparing the infrastructure, accumulating resources, and creating decentralized generation to provide energy to every home in the winter period.
Government officials' statements affirm that there will be no problems with power supply until the end of October and in November, and this year's winter will pass almost without blackouts, as last year's did.
NAEC "Energoatom" withdrew another nuclear power plant unit from scheduled maintenance 11 days earlier. All nine power units in the territory controlled by Ukraine are ready for work in the autumn-winter period.
It is noted that Ukraine's power system enters the winter season with the highest level of readiness, thanks to the completion of scheduled repairs at power plants.
In addition, the European Commission and G7 countries have collected over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure following Russia's invasion.
