ISW assessed the advancement of the AFU in the Kursk region.


The Institute for the Study of War reported that Ukrainian forces achieved slight progress in the operation on the Kursk section of the front.
The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of Ukraine carried out strikes on pontoon bridges and beachheads in the Glushkovsky district. It is assumed that HIMARS multiple rocket launch systems were used for this. Small-diameter aviation bombs were also used.
According to geolocated footage, Ukrainian forces are advancing into the settlement of Vishnivka. Russian bloggers claim that Ukraine's attacks were unsuccessful.
The geolocated footage also shows that Ukrainian forces are holding positions east of Oleksandrivka. Russian forces occupy positions along the 38N-564 highway east of Zhuraliv.
According to Russian bloggers, Ukrainian forces are encircling Russian troops in Martynivka. Russian military praise one of their soldiers for extracting conscripts from encirclement.
Geolocated footage shows that the AFU achieved success and advanced to the southern part of Ruska Konopelka.
