Hospitals were forced to rely on backup food supplies, and train stations and airports ceased operations. Bank cards became useless, so people who had cash hurried to buy essential goods in supermarkets. Tourists were greatly disappointed as they could not go on excursions, have lunch, or buy souvenirs due to the lack of electricity. Authorities reported that by Tuesday evening, electricity supply in Spain was restored by 50%, and the crisis was fully overcome after Tuesday morning.
