An eruption has begun on one of the most active volcanoes in the world in Hawaii.

The Kilauea volcano on the Hawaiian Islands has begun erupting again, reports USA Today.
This volcano is one of the most active in the world.
According to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, there is currently no threat to residents, as the eruption is confined to the area of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
This park, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, encompasses the peaks of the two most active volcanoes in the world - Kilauea and Mauna Loa.
However, authorities warn about the danger of volcanic smog, which may reach populated areas due to the wind.
It is noted that the smoke from the eruption contains sulfur dioxide and other harmful gases that can complicate the condition of people suffering from respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
The area where the eruption is taking place has been closed to visitors since 2007 due to the risk of rockfalls and volcanic crater collapse.
It should be noted that the last eruption began on September 29, 2021, and lasted until October 3.
There was also an eruption of the volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland, as reported by the RUV broadcaster. Currently, the town of Grindavik and the 'Blue Lagoon' geothermal complex have been evacuated.
