A Balloon of Unknown Origin Crashed at the Polish Border: Details.

A balloon of unknown origin has fallen in Poland near the border with Belarus. The police are securing the crash site, as reported by the RMF FM radio station.
The purpose of the balloon is currently unknown.
"The balloon fell on Polish territory, near the border with Belarus. This object was found in the Sokółka area in the Podlaskie Voivodeship," the report says.
It is likely that the balloon is a meteorological device. Nearby, there is a meteorological station in Kaliningrad, Russia, from which balloons are launched daily to measure temperature, humidity, and pressure. In high winds, such balloons can land in the border cities of Poland. It's also possible that this is a smuggler's aircraft, according to RMF FM.
Recall that earlier this summer, a balloon broke away from its mooring in the Kaliningrad region of Russia and entered Polish territory. This was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces. The balloon, which was moving eastward in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship's airspace, was constantly monitored by Polish army radar stations.
