Camembert cheese improves brain function – study
Researchers from Kyoto conducted experiments on mice to determine the effect of camembert on the brain. They concluded that the fermentation of dairy products, particularly camembert, may promote brain rejuvenation and reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. During fermentation, special molecules are formed that enhance brain function, promote the growth of new neurons, improve memory, and reduce the negative impact of fatty foods on the brain. Scientists also emphasized that consuming fermented dairy products may help lower the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. This is especially important as the number of people suffering from dementia and cognitive decline is steadily increasing.
Therefore, including fermented cheeses such as camembert in the diet may be beneficial for strengthening and protecting the brain.
