Gas extraction facilities in Poltava region halted operations after Russian attack.


On March 7, as a result of numerous attacks by Russia on Ukraine, DTEK gas extraction facilities in the Poltava region were attacked and ceased operations. This was reported by the press service of DTEK.
Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported that Russian energy and gas infrastructure in various regions of Ukraine is again under massive missile and drone attacks.
Russia continues its energy terror. Where possible, rescuers and energy workers are working to mitigate the consequences. All necessary measures are being taken to stabilize energy and gas supply.
Additionally, on the evening of March 6, Russian terrorists again attacked Odesa region with drones, causing fires in three private residential buildings. Odesa Regional Military Administration reported damage to the energy infrastructure.
In Ternopil region, missile strikes also occurred on a critical industrial facility, which may lead to restrictions in gas supply. It is noted that there are no casualties.
Furthermore, the production facilities of the Naftogaz Group suffered damage as a result of the missile strike in Ukraine.
