We demand a new conclusion from the military medical commission: what penalties await citizens

According to Ukraine's law No. 3621-IX, territorial recruitment centers will have the right to impose fines on individuals who do not receive a new conclusion from the military medical commission by June 5. The obligation to undergo the military medical examination falls on Ukrainian citizens aged 25 to 60 who have been recognized as temporarily unfit, with the exception of individuals with disabilities.

Now, the concept of 'temporarily unfit' is no longer present in the legislation. This status has been replaced by the status of 'fit for service in supply military units, territorial recruitment centers, military educational institutions, training centers, institutions, medical units, logistics units, communication units, operational support units, and security' or 'unfit for service'. The initiative to undergo the military medical examination should come from the conscript, who must personally contact the territorial recruitment center and social support or through the electronic cabinet of the conscript.

The presence of reservation or deferral does not exempt from undergoing the military medical examination before June 5

Conscripts with 'temporarily unfit' status who do not undergo the military medical examination by the specified date may be fined between 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias. We remind you that even persons who were assigned the status of 'temporarily unfit' in the past are not required to undergo the medical examination until they are 25 years old.

This new law aims to improve control over the examination of citizens by the military medical commission and to reduce the number of individuals with 'temporarily unfit' status who evade mandatory medical examinations.
