NATO members must help Ukraine join the alliance more quickly. This is stated in the resolution adopted at the plenary session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. According to the resolution, the governments and parliaments of NATO member states must make greater efforts to assist Ukraine in becoming a full member of the alliance as soon as possible.
The Assembly urges the governments and parliaments of the Alliance member states to make more political and practical efforts to help Ukraine receive an invitation and become the full-fledged 33rd member of NATO as quickly as possible.
The resolution also emphasizes the need to increase military, financial, and humanitarian support for Ukraine, as well as timely delivery of ammunition and modern weapon systems.
We call for stronger sanctions against the Russian Federation and North Korea to raise the cost of their participation in aggression against Ukraine. We also demand that Ukraine be provided with all necessary means, including medium-range missiles, for self-defense and to deter further aggression.
The resolution also notes that political and economic pressure should be used to deter China from supporting Russian military efforts.
