Ukrainian defense forces injured a high-ranking North Korean general during a strike in the Kursk region
According to an official representative, a high-ranking North Korean general was injured during a Ukrainian strike. This is the first confirmed case of a high-ranking North Korean military official being harmed during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The attack occurred when Ukrainian military fired ten British Storm Shadow missiles at targets in the Kursk area. Details of the general's injury have not been disclosed.
This operation may have involved five modified Su-24 bombers, each equipped with two Storm Shadow missiles. These missiles were fitted with a special Bomb Royal Ordnance Augmented Charge warhead, designed to target underground bunkers and fortified structures.
Russian and North Korean officers may have coordinated operations in the Kursk region from the affected command post. Such operations are dangerous for Ukrainian pilots who often carry out missions when they are attacked by multiple enemy missiles.
