Explanation regarding double payment receipts for gas in the Privat24 app
Recently, the 'Naftogaz Ukraine' company explained the situation with double payment receipts for gas observed in the Privat24 mobile application. As users discovered, the amounts due for payment are duplicated in the banking app.
Officially, Naftogaz stated that it has no agreements with the Privat24 internet bank and does not transmit information about charges through this resource.
'We are not responsible for how the data is displayed in the Privat24 mobile application,' the company noted.
To obtain accurate information regarding calculations and debts for gas, Naftogaz recommends using the company's official channels. This includes a personal account on the website my.gas.ua and GASUA chatbots in Viber and Telegram.
It is important to remember that payment for gas consists of two separate payments: for gas supply (Naftogaz) and for its distribution (local gas distribution company).
