The police reported how many terrorist attacks were prevented in Ukraine in 2025.


The Ukrainian police reported that since the beginning of the year, there have been 33 terrorist attacks in Ukraine, 16 of which were prevented. Andriy Nebytov, Deputy Head of the National Police, reported on the active activities of the Russian Federation across the entire territory of Ukraine, which includes sabotage actions and poses a danger to every part of the country. It was noted that since the beginning of the year, there have been 33 recorded terrorist acts in Ukraine, of which 16 were prevented. It was possible to identify 50 involved individuals, including 35 men and 15 women, among whom there are also minors.
There were also recorded 84 cases of arson of vehicles belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of which 47 have already been solved. As a result, 57 individuals have been brought to criminal responsibility, among whom are minors and women.
According to Nebytov, there have been 73 recorded cases of destruction of communication equipment, of which 45 have already been solved. 45 individuals have been brought to criminal responsibility, among whom are women and minors.
Among the objects where there were attempts of terrorist acts, there are five recruitment centers, eight units of the National Police, seven military facilities, two officials, two Ukrzaliznytsia facilities, and nine other objects.
Andriy Nebytov, Deputy Head of the National Police, emphasized that the enemy does not relent in its efforts to provoke chaos and panic in the country. However, he stressed that the police, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, successfully prevent most terrorist acts and detain individuals even at the preparation stage. More than 50% of terrorist acts have been prevented.
Analyzing the data, one can conclude about the effectiveness of law enforcement forces in Ukraine in combating the terrorist threat. However, it is essential to pay attention to the active activities of the Russian Federation and strengthen security and control over terrorist activities in the country. It is also necessary to ensure the safety of objects that have become targets of terrorist actions and to increase criminal prosecution of criminals.
