Children Returned from Occupation Saw Rome as Part of 'Children at Home'.


Ukrainian children who returned from occupied territories had a break in Italy thanks to the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA. 38 children rested for two weeks in the town of Postiglione.
Sad Experience and Joyful Emotions
The trip was organized within the framework of the project 'Children at Home', which aims to help Ukrainian children who have experienced deportation find a safe space for recovery and support. The trip involved children who were in danger, experienced forced displacement, or are children of Ukrainian defenders. Participants of the trip shared their impressions, noting that they had the opportunity to enjoy their vacation and see the Pope.
Plans for the Future
The 'Children at Home' project plans to organize further trips for Ukrainian youth who have experienced traumatic experiences and need support. Such initiatives help children feel safe and receive positive emotions.
The initiative of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA, provides an opportunity for Ukrainian children who have endured difficult life circumstances to receive support and unforgettable impressions from travel, contributing to psychological recovery and support.
