Starmer urged Putin to end the war in Ukraine
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop military activities and withdraw his troops from Ukraine. This was reported by The Guardian.
Starmer emphasized that 'Putin's aggressive rhetoric, especially regarding nuclear weapons, will not stop support for Ukraine.'
'We are currently experiencing the 1000th day of the conflict, which is 1000 days of Russian aggression, 1000 days of suffering in Ukraine. We have supported Ukraine from the very beginning. I reiterate my firm call to provide Ukraine with everything necessary to win this war against Putin,' said Starmer.
On the 1000th day of Russia's illegal war in Ukraine, I reiterate: End the war, leave Ukraine.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Keir Starmer rejected the possibility of talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin after the negative reaction to the phone call made by German President Olaf Scholz to Putin.
