The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to provide additional subsidies to communities that are located in the combat zone or in close proximity to the line of contact. According to this decision, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development will allocate funds for 180 communities located in nine frontline regions.Minister Oleksiy Kuleba announced: 'The government has already allocated 1.8 billion UAH for 180 communities in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions'.These funds will be used for the most important needs, in particular, for conducting emergency recovery works after shelling, constructing protective shelters, purchasing special equipment for communal services, and repairing critical infrastructure, including heating and gas networks.Minister Kuleba emphasized that this is part of regular assistance to communities.In contrast to this decision, last week the government allocated 1.5 billion UAH in the form of additional subsidies for frontline communities and regions that are constantly in danger.
