Border guards recorded an increase in passenger traffic at the border with Poland.

Ukrainians are increasingly crossing the border with Poland through checkpoints due to the tourist season. According to the Western Directorate of the State Border Service, just in the past day in the Lviv region, more than 9,000 vehicles and over 60,000 people crossed the border. This is 40% more than usual.
The most popular checkpoints are "Krakovets", "Shehyni" and "Rava-Ruska", where queues form. Waiting Time can be reduced by choosing less busy checkpoints, such as "Smilnytsya", "Hrusheve" and "Uhryniv".
There is also the possibility to forecast border crossing. Information on checkpoint congestion can be found on the State Border Service's website in the "Congestion" section. There, you can choose the filter "Buses" and the country to obtain the needed information.
Thus, Ukrainians are advised to choose less busy checkpoints and not to forget about the possibility of forecasting the border crossing to reduce waiting time.
It is also worth noting that additional regulatory restrictions have been introduced in the border strip in the Uzhhorod district to prevent violations.
