Anniversary of the Full-Scale War. The Path of the Third Assault Brigade of Biletsky.


For three years, Ukrainian volunteers have become the main defense forces of the country. One such unit is the Third Assault Brigade, which began its journey as a Territorial Defense unit and transformed into a Ukrainian Ground Forces Corps. The brigade was created on the basis of the 'Azov' regiment. Initially, it was a militia army, but over Time it became known as the Third Assault Brigade.
After the liberation of Kyiv region, the brigade was transformed into the 'Azov' Special Operations Service (SSO) and relocated to the Zaporizhzhia-Mariupol axis. Currently, the brigade is fighting in the Kharkiv region, controlling a strip 50 km wide.
The Third Assault Brigade is an example of a modern and effective army. It has professional leadership that strives for continuous learning. In addition, the brigade has a quality medical and support service for wounded fighters.
During the battles from July 2024 to February 2025, the brigade destroyed 8243 occupiers and 156 units of armored vehicles, without losing any significant positions.
Currently, based on the Third Assault Brigade, a large corps is being formed that will unite five combat brigades and receive heavy weapons. According to the media, other successful units will be scaled across the entire Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the Third Assault Brigade has become the true elite of the Ukrainian army, changing the situation on the battlefield and serving as an example for other units.
