Today, on the evening of August 25, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the private sector of the Sumy community, which led to deaths and injuries among the civilian population.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the strike was carried out in the private sector of the community, and emergency services are providing necessary medical assistance to the victims.
«This evening, August 25, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the private sector of the Sumy community. According to preliminary information, there are dead and injured among the civilian population. All necessary services are working on the spot. Medical assistance is being provided to the victims» - noted in the message.
Currently, relevant services are working at the scene and dealing with the situation.
It was previously known that the Russians shelled civilian infrastructure in Sumy, which led to injuries.
Let us recall that restrictions on movement in the border zone were established in the Sumy region. Also, on August 11, Russian troops carried out a missile and airstrike on infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region.
