Russia spread false information about alleged drug use by Macron: Reaction from Paris.

France debunked false information about drugs involving Macron and other leaders
The press service of the Élysée Palace denied the information that drugs were allegedly found with the French President, the Polish Prime Minister, and the leaders of the United Kingdom during their visit to Kyiv. The Russians used a common napkin on the table as evidence.
In response to these allegations, the office of the French President published a photo from the train carrying European leaders to Ukraine. One of the images shows the napkin, while the other image is accompanied by a caption about European unity and the importance of peace building.
“When European unity becomes uncomfortable, misinformation and manipulation go so far that an ordinary napkin looks like a drug. These fake news stories are spread by France's enemies both abroad and at home. We must remain vigilant against manipulations.”
Recently, a meeting of the 'Coalition of the Determined' took place in Kyiv, attended by the leaders of France, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Germany. After this meeting, they spoke by phone with the US President and discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine.
Every significant international event in Ukraine raises many concerns and comments both within the country itself and among foreign partners. This situation confirms the importance of cooperation between states on international security issues.
