Defense forces attacked the submarine "Rostov-on-Don".


The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the submarine and missile complex in temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Missile troops together with the Naval Forces of Ukraine damaged four launchers of the S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile system.
The submarine "Rostov-on-Don" of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was also successfully hit. The submarine sank on the spot.
Submarine B-237 "Rostov-on-Don" (according to NATO classification - Kilo class) is one of four Kilo class submarines that uses "Kalibr" missiles.
"Rostov-on-Don" was commissioned on December 26, 2014.
On September 13, 2023, as a result of a Ukrainian missile attack, the ship suffered significant damage. Subsequently, repairs and tests were carried out in the waters of Sevastopol Harbor. The cost of the submarine is estimated at 300 million dollars.
At the parade for the day of the Russian Navy, not a single damaged ship was shown, as Ukraine claims.
Putin acknowledged that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are striking the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. At a meeting on the development of the Russian Navy, he noted the need to protect the fleet from possible attacks.
Over 27 months, Ukraine has sunk or seriously damaged more than 10 large military ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Crimea. This is a third of the entire fleet.
