You will need:
- milk — 250 ml.;
- sugar — 1 tsp.;
- dried yeast — 7 g;
- oil — 2 tbsp.;
- egg — 1 pc.;
- flour — 470 g;
- salt — 1 tsp.;
- cottage cheese — 600 g;
- eggs — 2 pcs.;
- salt — to taste;
- oil for frying — approximately 200–300 ml.
Cooking method
In warm milk, add sugar and dry yeast, stir until dissolved. Pour in the oil, crack in the egg, and mix. Sift the flour with salt and knead a soft, elastic dough. Transfer it to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and leave it in a warm place for an hour.
For the filling, mix the cottage cheese with eggs and salt until smooth.
Divide the dough into 7 parts, form balls, and roll them into flat cakes. Place the filling, shape the pies, and carefully pinch the edges. Then gently roll each pie into a flat cake.
Fry on both sides in well-heated oil until golden brown. Place the finished cakes on paper towels to remove excess fat.
