Judiciary, decentralization, and energy: The European Union named key reforms for Ukraine:.


The EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Mathernova, emphasized the importance of reforms in the country, even amid conflict. She noted that especially important are judicial reform, decentralization, and energy reform, which are discussed within the framework of the 'Fundamental Values' cluster.
'We actively support civil society, which performs a monitoring function, and we work with the government. Within the Ukraine Facility, we have a number of criteria that include these issues - judicial reform, anti-corruption, and the rule of law in the broad sense,' said the EU Ambassador.
Mathernova also stressed the importance of continuing decentralization and energy reforms for Ukraine, noting that these processes are key, and the European Union is ready to support the country in these areas.
In a new statement, the EU Ambassador provided support to Ukrainian authorities in carrying out necessary reforms, including judicial, decentralization, and energy. Mathernova highlighted these issues as priorities for the country, emphasizing the EU's readiness to assist in these processes.
