'Don't expect a quick end': Vance explained why the war will drag on.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated in an interview with Fox News that the Russian-Ukrainian war will not end soon. Both sides of the conflict have already proposed their peace proposals, and now the question is about the possibility of finding a compromise solution.
'I really don't believe that anyone other than Donald Trump could reach such an agreement. I mean a truly peaceful resolution. But right now it all depends on the Russians and Ukrainians, as both sides know what peace terms are acceptable to the other. Therefore, they must reach an agreement and stop this brutal conflict,' Vance emphasized.
The Vice President also noted that Ukrainians are 'angry at Russia for attacking them.' Despite the pessimistic forecasts, Vance is confident that if the conflict can be stopped, it will be thanks to a proposal made by President Trump, which he considers one of the best deals of the 21st century.
Previously, Vance had already commented on the situation, emphasizing the 'great gap' in the visions of finishing the war between Ukraine and Russia. At that Time, he noted that the Trump administration would work on bridging the positions of the parties over the next 100 days.
According to The Telegraph, the United States has already presented its peace plan during a meeting in London on April 23 with delegations from Ukraine and other European countries. The American proposal includes seven points and calls for an immediate ceasefire followed by the start of negotiations.
The plan also includes recognizing Crimea as Russian and freezing the current front line while demanding that Russia give up complete control over the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, which it claims are its territory. Ukraine is proposed to abandon its NATO membership but with the option of European integration and to sign a minerals agreement with Washington.
Earlier, opinions had already been expressed about the possibility of ending the war after signing an economic agreement.
