In Zaporizhzhia, the enemy constantly shells the power grids of 'Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo' throughout March. However, there were only five days without damage due to shelling.
'Since the beginning of 2025, new 'hot' spots have appeared on the energy map of our region. The frontline directions have been supplemented by the suburbs of the left bank of Zaporizhzhia - Orikhivshchyna, Stepnohirs'k, Kushuhum, Balabyn, Malokaterynivka... Our teams are forced to restore the electrical equipment in these areas daily after shelling. The overall statistics for the last month are striking - over 48 thousand consumers who were cut off due to hostilities have already received power from 'Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo'', - said the company's director Andrii Stasevskyi.
The energy workers constantly operate under difficult conditions due to frequent air alerts and repeated shelling. Just a few hours after restoring the network, it may be damaged again, forcing the energy workers to return to the line. Additionally, repair crews constantly risk coming under another enemy shelling.
