The White House reminded what Trump expects from Putin.

Negotiations between US Special Representative Steve Wittkoff and Russia were marked as 'productive'. However, the White House press secretary, Livitt, stated during a briefing that the US wants to see a ceasefire first before considering the possibility of economic partnership with Russia.
The press secretary also reported that 'Trump believes that Russia wants to stop the war in Ukraine'. She also stated that 'Trump has no plans to visit Ukraine'.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of territorial integrity and the need to strengthen air defense during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Odesa.
'These are red lines for us - recognizing any territories temporarily occupied by Russia. These representatives (the special envoy of the US president Steve Wittkoff) are discussing issues beyond their competence,' Zelensky said in response to statements regarding the possible resolution of the status of five territories within a 'peace agreement'.
