In Poland, organizers of an illegal migration channel have been detained, among them are Ukrainians (video).


Border guards detained 11 organizers of illegal crossing of the Polish border with Belarus. The detainees were involved in ferrying migrants from Russia and Belarus to Western European countries. Among those detained are citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and Russia, reports RMF24.
The detention operation was conducted by the officers of the Podlaskie Border Guard Division of Poland in cooperation with Europol.
As part of the operation, searches were carried out in 11 premises and more than a dozen vehicles used by the detainees. During the searches, communication devices, computers, documents, and 80,000 zlotys in cash were seized.
The eleven detainees, among whom were citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and Russia, were charged with organizing illegal crossing of the border of the Republic of Poland. Six people were preliminarily arrested.
It is also reported that the group is responsible for the illegal transportation of at least 600 migrants from the Belarusian border to Western Europe.
