Ukrainian boxer and military Sergiy Stakhovsky commented on Oleksandr Usyk receiving the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy. He called for the announcement of the composition of the academic council involved in this achievement.
Stakhovsky requested to announce the composition of the academic council on Instagram, so that these stars become known throughout Ukraine.
It should be noted that Oleksandr Usyk obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of law. He defended his dissertation at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KhNUIA).
The topic of his dissertation is 'Administrative and legal support for international cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports'.
Usyk studied in the postgraduate and doctoral department at KhNUIA since October 2021.
In addition, Usyk decided to demolish his house in Vorzel, where Russians lived in the spring of 2022. According to him, the house is in poor condition.
Usyk also stated that he does not see himself as a politician and has many projects in the field of sports development.
He also stated that he is ready to become the Minister of Sports of Ukraine but does not see himself as a Ukrainian politician.
Oleksandr Krasyuk, Usyk's promoter, spoke about negotiations with Daniel Dubois regarding organizing a fight for the title of absolute world champion. It is noted that negotiations are ongoing to organize the fight in Great Britain.
