The US presidential advisor rejects the idea of nuclear weapons for Ukraine
On Sunday, December 1, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan categorically denied the assumption of returning nuclear weapons to Ukraine in an interview with ABC News. He emphasized that this is not being considered by the Biden administration and they have no intention to focus on nuclear capabilities. Instead, they plan to provide conventional weapons and strengthen conventional capabilities.
Sullivan stressed that the Biden administration will do everything to ensure that the Ukrainian side is stronger at the negotiation table. The president personally instructed him to oversee the supply of military equipment and the effective use of funding until the end of his term.
