The participants of the show The Bachelor – how many girls were in each season and who became the winner.

The show about bachelors has many fans and becomes increasingly popular every year. Even during the war, it does not lose its relevance. Each season, a variety of characters appear on screen. Among them are many still popular characters.
It is worth examining what types of participants the bachelor show has. After all, there are many of them, but each one is special. Also, participants of the bachelor often find their love. However, every season raises many questions, for example, how many participants will there be this Time, or whether the bachelor will be a woman or a man. All this interests the public no less than who will be the winner.
If you look at the bachelor show participants' photos, you can see that the Ukrainian version of the site has always featured many bright and beautiful girls. Each of them carries her own idea throughout the show. This includes the winners of all seasons of the bachelor.
How many participants were in each season?
"The Bachelor" is one of the most famous romantic television shows in Ukraine, attracting viewers' attention for over a decade, enchanting with romance, drama, emotions, and beautiful love stories. Each season of the show is a new story, a new hero, searched for by the hearts of more than twenty charming participants. Hundreds of girls from all over Ukraine go through auditions to join the project, meet the main hero – the "Bachelor," and, perhaps, become the only one for him. Over several months, they live together, go on dates, face trials, share dreams, and fight for the heart of the man who, at the end of the season, must make his choice. Only one becomes the winner – the one who receives the ring.
The format of the "Bachelor" show involves one man who must choose among several dozen girls the one he would like to have a relationship with. Usually, each season starts with 25 participants – this is the standard number, which can sometimes change slightly depending on the specific ideas of the directors. Some seasons had surprises when new girls appeared during the project, or when some left before the official start, during the so-called "rose ceremony." But on average, it can be said that each season started with approximately 22–25 participants.
The show is based on the principle of step-by-step elimination: every week, the main hero says goodbye to several participants who did not impress him or with whom he did not feel a connection. The main moments are dates – both group and individual, during which the girls' characters, values, life histories, and attitudes towards love are revealed. Each rose ceremony is a moment of tension because only the girls who receive a flower from the Bachelor remain in the project. At the final stage, usually, two participants are left, one of whom becomes the winner – she receives a ring, a kiss, and hope for a future together.
In the first seasons, the number of participants remained at 25, sometimes 26. Later, starting from the 4th–5th season, the show began to experiment: sometimes new participants were added in the middle of the season, or even those who had already left the project were brought back. However, traditionally, the main goal remained unchanged – to find true love.
Throughout all seasons of the Ukrainian "Bachelor," many girls have fought for love, but only a few managed to reach the finale and become winners. In this section, we will look at who exactly received the ring from the main hero in the first six seasons of the show. It is worth noting that not all these relationships continued after the show ended, but participation in the show changed the lives of many of them.
Oleksandra Shulgina – winner of season 1
The first season of the show "The Bachelor" aired on Ukrainian screens in 2011. The main hero was businessman and owner of a modeling agency – Maxim Chmerkovskiy, a dancer of world renown. He lived in the USA but returned to Ukraine to find love here.
Among the more than two dozen beauties, Oleksandra Shulgina stood out from the start, drawing attention with her elegance, intelligence, and restraint. She did not get into conflicts, behaved with dignity and honesty. Her composure, sincerity, and openness impressed Chmerkovskiy. In the finale, she received the ring. Their relationship continued even after the show, but after a certain time, the couple announced their breakup.
Olena Ryasnova – winner of season 2
The second season was no less emotional. Its main hero was Francisco Gomez, a charismatic choreographer from Great Britain. His choice in the finale of the show was Olena Ryasnova, a young teacher from Ukraine.
Olena went through a long journey, overcame her fears, repeatedly became the object of envy of other participants but remained sincere and gentle. She managed to show Francisco that love is not only passion but also support, trust, and warmth. Her victory was a surprise to some viewers, but she was a worthy finalist. Unfortunately, after the show, the relationship did not work out, and each went their own way.
Anyuta Kozyr – winner of season 3
In the third season, the Bachelor was the Iron Man of Ukraine – Kostyantyn Yevtushenko, an entrepreneur, athlete, ambitious and determined personality. He needed not just a beautiful girl but one who would share his lifestyle and become a partner in everything.
It turned out that Anyuta Kozyr was just that – charming, confident, ambitious. Their relationship went through serious conversations, misunderstandings, and trials. But at the end of the season, it was she whom Kostyantyn gave the ring. They tried to build a relationship after the show, but later separated due to differences in views on life.
Anna Selyukova – winner of season 4
The fourth season was marked by the participation of a famous Ukrainian football player – Serhiy Melnyk. He was serious, reserved, and very particular in his choices. His choice fell on Anna Selyukova – a bright, stylish yet kind and sensitive girl.
Anna was able to find an approach to Serhiy, demonstrating not only external attractiveness but also her inner world. She spoke openly about herself, was not afraid to talk about personal things. Their relationship after the show was bright, but in the end, they could not withstand the trials of real life and ended in separation.
Marina Kyschuk – winner of season 5
In the fifth season, the main hero was Irakli Makatsaria – a true Georgian gentleman with incredible charisma. He became one of the most beloved bachelors among female viewers, and his choice was very emotional.

Although after the show the couple did not live together, viewers remembered this romance for a long time.
Olena Lesyk – winner of season 6

It turned out to be Olena Lesyk, who managed to show not only her tenderness and romanticism but also the depth of her personality. She was not afraid to be herself, sometimes even contradicting the Bachelor, which sparked his interest. Their finale was touching, but after the show, they decided to remain friends.

The seventh season of "The Bachelor" once again gathered millions of Ukrainians around their screens, with popular TV presenter and showman Dmytro Cherkasov as the main hero. She did not participate in loud conflicts, which only added her points in Dmytro's eyes.
Against the backdrop of bright and expressive rivals, Lida seemed like a true "quiet shore" that gradually opened up. Her sincerity, friendliness, and deep understanding of the essence of relationships allowed her to win the heart of "The Bachelor." After the finale, the couple was together for a while longer, but eventually, it became known that their relationship had ended. However, Lida remained in viewers' hearts as one of the fairest and most natural winners of the project.
Ivanna Goncharuk – winner of season 8
In the eighth season, the main hero was popular singer Rozhden Anusi. Ivanna Goncharuk immediately attracted attention with her femininity, exquisite manners, and deep inner world. Her appearance was significantly different from other participants – she was calm, intelligent, open for dialogue, but at the same time had a strong character.
On the show, Ivanna often remained in the shadows of scandals and did not seek to prove anything through emotional outbursts. Her calm behavior helped her to build trust with "The Bachelor," and deep conversations created an emotional bond. In the finale, Rozhden chose her, which was a surprise for many. However, after the show, the couple's relationship did not withstand the tests of real life. Although they broke up, Ivanna received tremendous support from viewers and continued to build her career in the modeling and media space.

The finale was a triumph of true feelings – Nikita gave Daria a ring and proposed to start a new life outside the television cameras. This was one of the most successful couples of the project, proving that "The Bachelor" can be not just a show, but the beginning of true love. The couple got married and had a son. Although later they announced their divorce, the story of Daria and Nikita remained in viewers' hearts as an example of a sincere beginning of family life.
