Ukraine returned the bodies of 909 fallen soldiers.

The Coordination Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners reported that Ukraine has successfully returned the bodies of 909 fallen defenders. Most of them were from the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, as well as from other directions such as Kurakhivskyi, Pokrovskyi, Bakhmutskyi, Vuhledarskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv. Some bodies were found in morgues on the territory of Russia.
Together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, investigative law enforcement agencies are working on the identification of the deceased defenders. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are currently investigating more than 50 criminal cases regarding the murders of prisoners of war.
