Ukraine claims to host the Invictus Games.


The Head of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Natalia Kalmykova, stated that Ukraine plans to host the Invictus Games in the future. Kalmykova hopes that Ukraine meets all the requirements and will be able to host such an important sporting event.
At the Invictus Games 2025 in Canada, Ukrainian athletes won 32 medals, which is the second best result in the history of Ukraine.
Medal count of the Ukrainian team at the Invictus Games 2025
Ukrainian veterans won 12 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze medals in 11 disciplines, such as swimming, cross-country skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, alpine skiing, indoor rowing, skeleton, and sitting volleyball.
Results of the Ukrainian team at the Invictus Games 2025:
- Swimming: 5 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze medal;
- Cross-country skiing: 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze medal;
- Biathlon: 2 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze medals;
- Snowboarding: 2 gold, 1 bronze medal;
- Alpine skiing: 1 gold, 2 silver medals;
- Indoor rowing: 4 silver medals;
- Skeleton: 1 bronze medal;
- Sitting volleyball: 1 bronze medal.
The members of the Ukrainian team also participated in the Unconquered combined team and won a bronze medal in wheelchair basketball.
The winner of the Invictus Games 2025 was the USA team, which won 55 medals, including 23 gold.
The Invictus Games were founded by Prince Harry in 2014 and were first held in London. In 2017, Ukraine joined these games.
Recently, the Ukrainian team won their first match in the wheelchair basketball tournament at the Invictus Games with a score of 12:6 against Colombia.
