The National Endowment for the Humanities in the USA has ceased funding the publishing program of the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University. This was reported by the head of the program and literary scholar Oleg Ko tsyuba.Funding was stopped due to the allocation of the fund's resources to support the president's priority tasks.'This was our first federal grant of this type in many years of working on publishing,' Ko tsyuba noted.He also noted that over 3.5 years of work, 14 volumes of Ukrainian literature in translation have been published. However, due to the ongoing war with Russia, it will be more difficult to continue publishing activities without additional resources.The publishing program project was launched in 2021 with the goal of translating and publishing Ukrainian literature in English.
