Ukraine is preparing to open an International Training Hub on humanitarian demining. This was stated during the forum 'Features of Informing the Population about the Risks from Mines and Other Explosive Objects', which received support from the Ministry of Defense.

'The enemy uses modern ammunition, which can deliver cluster munitions, mines, and other dangerous explosive elements to all corners of Ukraine. Therefore, it is important for us to carry out informative activities not only in the conflict zone but throughout the country, engaging various layers of the population,' emphasized Colonel Oleg Shuvarsky.

The creation of the training hub will unite efforts to develop innovative methods of informing about mine danger, from the development of training programs to the creation of media content and interactive applications. It is also planned to establish a unique museum of humanitarian demining based at the hub.

Currently, more than 6 million civilians live in areas where there is a threat from explosive objects. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in eastern Ukraine, 1224 people have been affected by mines and explosive remnants of war, of which 345 have died. Most incidents with mines among the civilian population occurred in the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

Ukraine is working on creating an International Training Hub for humanitarian demining aimed at informing citizens about the risks from mines and other explosive objects. This initiative is intended to improve informational safety in all regions of the country and involve all layers of the population in the specified issue.

Ukraine plans to establish an International Training Hub on humanitarian demining, which will help raise citizens' awareness of the dangers from mines and other explosive objects. This initiative aims to improve safety across the entire country and engage the public in the issue of mine danger.

The announcement of the creation of the training hub is part of a broader strategy to prevent and mitigate the consequences of explosive situations in Ukraine, as well as to provide necessary information to the residents of the country for their own safety.
