Significant Breakthrough: Starmer Comments on Ukraine and US Negotiations in Jeddah.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, expressed his opinion regarding the results of the negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the US, which took place earlier in Saudi Arabia.
Starmer congratulated President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky 'on this outstanding breakthrough' and emphasized the importance of this moment for peace in Ukraine. He urged everyone to make double efforts to achieve a lasting and reliable peace quickly. At the same Time, Starmer noted that currently 'the ball is in Russia's court'. Russia must also agree to a ceasefire and the end of hostilities to achieve peace.
Starmer has planned a meeting with leaders this Saturday to discuss further steps. He noted that the United Kingdom is ready to assist in finding a fair and sustainable solution that will allow Ukraine to enjoy its freedom.
As a reminder, during the meeting in the city of Jeddah on March 11, Ukraine agreed to a temporary ceasefire, while the US is restoring security assistance.
