Ukrainian military intends to prevent Russian invaders from crossing the Oskil River
The Ukrainian military command 'Khortytsia' has reported on the plans of Russian forces. According to spokesperson of OSUV 'Khortytsia' Viktor Trehubov, the enemies will attempt to cross the Oskil River in small groups in Kharkiv region.
Trehubov explained that due to the river not freezing, they will not be able to conduct a full-scale crossing. Therefore, Russian military is redeploying their forces in groups of 5-10 soldiers.
'Since the river has not frozen, they cannot conduct a normal full-scale crossing, therefore they are redeploying specifically in groups of 5 or 10 soldiers,' Trehubov said during a telethon.
According to Trehubov, Russian invaders will try to cross the Oskil River with a small number of soldiers using small boats. Ukrainian forces are defending their positions in settlements and neutralizing Russian groups in approximately the same way.
