As part of the Bring Kids Back UA project, another 11 children have been returned from temporarily occupied territories and from Russia. This was reported by 'Glavcom', citing Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets. It is noted that an 11-year-old boy and his mother were on the occupied territory. They tried to be cautious to avoid any attention from the temporary authorities."After the father's release from captivity, the woman turned to the Ombudsman's Office for help to leave the temporarily occupied territory. As a result, the family is back in the controlled territory of Ukraine and will soon be together," wrote Lubinets.Among those returned from the occupied territories is also a pregnant woman with a small child. According to the Ombudsman, the occupying authorities constantly pressured the family and refused to provide medical assistance due to the absence of Russian documents."After returning to the controlled territory of Ukraine, the woman was finally able to receive all the necessary medical assistance. And just a few days later, she gave birth to a girl," the message states. The ages of all returned children range from 2 to 17 years. In the occupied territory, families lived under constant pressure from the occupying regime due to their pro-Ukrainian stance. They were persecuted, intimidated, and deprived of basic rights, creating serious risks for the children. We remind that the Save Ukraine team also helped return two teenagers from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region."We managed to save two boys from our region who were in temporarily occupied territories with the help of the Bring Kids Back project," noted a team representative.Earlier we reported that seven Ukrainian children returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine, two of whom are from the Kherson region.Analysis: Thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA project, another 11 children have been returned from temporarily occupied territories and from Russia. This is an important achievement since the children were in danger of life and in a state of lack of treatment under the occupying regime. The return of children to the controlled territory of Ukraine has given them the opportunity to receive necessary medical assistance and to be together with their families again. This is an important step in preventing further destabilization of family well-being and child development. The Save Ukraine and Bring Kids Back UA teams have made significant contributions to the rescue and return of children to the territory controlled by Ukraine. The continuation of these projects is crucial for ensuring the safety and protection of children who are in difficult conditions in temporarily occupied territories.
