Ukrainian defense forces destroyed Russian taekwondo athlete Maksym Firsin

The Ukrainian defense forces reported that they eliminated the Russian occupier, who was a taekwondo athlete, Maksym Firsin. This information was shared by the publication Glavkom.

Maksym Firsin, who was born on January 31, 2002, was a well-known taekwondo athlete and represented the Sverdlovsk region in the GTF taekwondo national team. He was a prizewinner and champion at the city, regional, and all-Russian levels.

Currently, Russian propaganda resources do not report the date and details of the elimination of this occupier.

Earlier, the armed forces of Ukraine reported the elimination of another Russian occupier, boxer Artem Podkovin. He was also a well-known athlete and held the title of 'candidate for master of sports'. Podkovin participated in the hostile war against Ukraine since 2022 and received various awards for his service.

In particular, he was the commander of a platoon of fire support in a motorized rifle company in 2022 and then became the commander of a mountain motorized rifle company in 2024. However, he was eliminated as a result of an operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region on April 6, 2025.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian defense forces previously eliminated another traitor from Crimea - footballer and futsal player Oleksiy Yablonskyi. He also had a sports career and played in various football and futsal teams in Ukraine, but after the annexation of Crimea, he continued to play in the occupied peninsula.

Friends and colleagues of the Russian occupier Oleksandr Rabotnytskyi were shocked when they learned that he was a prizewinner of the Paralympic Games, but had been diagnosed with 'organic brain damage'. Rabotnytskyi was a section commander in the reconnaissance company and was eliminated, however, the details of his death are not reported.
