Transition to Winter Time 2024: What Ukrainians Need to Know.

Tomorrow, on October 27th, Ukrainians will switch their clocks to winter Time again.
However, due to the absence of the president's signature and the expiration of the veto imposition period, the situation regarding the cancellation of clock switching remains uncertain.
As always, the clock hands should be set back one hour at 4:00. Most electronic devices will do this automatically, but mechanical clocks will require manual adjustment.
Experts draw attention to the dual consequences of these possible changes. On one hand, canceling clock switching may positively affect people's health, as scientific studies confirm the negative impact of time changes on biorhythms. On the other hand, permanent winter time may create certain problems for different regions of Ukraine.
"In the eastern regions, during the summer, dawn will come at 3 AM, and in the western regions, it will be too dark too early in winter," experts note.
Economists also warn of possible financial consequences: with permanent winter time, many businesses would finish their workday after sunset, which may negatively affect productivity.
For now, citizens are advised to follow the usual procedure of clock switching until the situation with the law is finally resolved.
